To raise funds to help deliver an excellent end of season and summer programme, as well as to replace our indoor boards.

We are living in unprecedented times and the coronavirus pandemic has affected everyone's lives in different ways. Here at HCKP, we have had two seasons interrupted and cut short. League matches, tournaments, talent centres have all been cancelled. We have been on and off the pitch for 12 months which has meant we have missed almost an entire hockey season.
✓ Extend the 2020/21 season through to May Half-Term.
✓ Run a full hockey programme throughout June & July to enable everyone the opportunity to catch up on missed hockey training and matches.
✓ Be able to offer bursaries for those that require financial support.
✓ Run a ‘Back to Hockey’ programme for the adults and the parents of the club.
✓ Replace & add to all outdoor equipment and safety kit.
✓ Offer additional indoor hockey training and competitions.
✓ Replace the indoor hockey boards currently used for training.
✓ Run a community outreach programme of training and coaching for all U10s and U12s throughout the summer.
✓ Ensure that, despite the losses in earning potential due to the coronavirus pandemic, we can financially support the payments to our coaches and umpires and secure their time and commitment to HC Knole Park for 2021/22.
✓ Be financially stable heading into 2021/22.
We want to continue to make hockey at HC Knole Park a really positive part of the community and your lives for the next 10, 20, 50 years!
From a financial point of view we haven’t been able to run our fantastic fundraising events alongside our hockey sessions and matches over the last 12 months.
The shortfall in fundraising opportunities where we could have raised circa £5000 together with the lack of Saturday match day fees (approximately 45-50 matches between the Men's 1s and Women's 1s and 2s) has meant that we have also suffered a shortfall of approximately £3000-£3500. Not only this but Covid has also had a limiting effect on how many people we can have on a pitch in sessions/matches, as well as limiting our ability to run additional training, masterclasses and indoor tournaments and championships.
All of these extra sessions, matches and fundraising would have gone towards the day to day running of HC Knole Park, replacing equipment, paying our coaches and helping to continue to make HCKP the brilliant club we all know and love.

You! Every penny will be spent on your hockey or your children’s hockey!
We know that the lack of sport and physical activity has had a really negative impact over the last 12 months on you and your children’s physical and social wellbeing. We want to make sure that coming out of Lockdown 3.0 is as positive for you and your children as possible by offering a full hockey programme throughout the summer and into next season. This will include lots of catch-up training sessions, camps, community outreach projects and taster sessions - and all this with your favourite coaches! We also need to replace and update both indoor and outdoor equipment, including the indoor boards. This support will also ensure that we are financially ready for 2021/22.
Indoor Boards Equipment
At Knole Park indoor hockey is a huge part of everyone’s hockey with weekly sessions and tournaments. Sadly the indoor rebound boards have come to the end of their life and they therefore need replacing. The current boards have had a great run and we have spent many hours using them. And a fair few hours moving them in and out of cupboards! One of our main fundraising focuses will be to raise enough money to replace the indoor rebound boards. The aim will be that these new boards will provide us with year round indoor hockey to enjoy and develop our indoor game. As one of a few indoor specialist hockey clubs in the country, we feel that having the best provision for indoor hockey is hugely important for your children’s development and enjoyment of the sport.

Thank you for reading through our project and for supporting us! Your donation through this Crowdfunding project will make all the difference to HC Knole Park, your children’s hockey and everyone’s happiness!
Our target is to fundraise £8000 through a combination of your donations and Sport England through the match funding Return to Play: Active Together funding scheme.
1. Donate if you can, using the donate button on here. If you give, for example, £20, and we then meet our match funding criteria, that becomes £40! Likewise if you can give £50, that could become £100!
2. If you cannot donate financially, but would like to Donate a Reward, please let us know as this could really help us to increase our engagement with others. A bit like the Poker Chip raffle in the past – the better the prizes, the more everyone played, the more money we raised!
3. Comment and leave a message of support. It would be great for others to see why you have donated! And then share this link with your family and friends. Every penny is crucial for us to provide you and your children with the brilliant hockey you have come to enjoy so far at HC Knole Park!
If you can donate and you are a UK Tax Payer please also:
✓ Tick the GIFT AID box. (This will enable us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate.)
We have already added some fantastic rewards to say 'Thank you' for your donation. However the greatest reward is knowing that HC Knole Park can get back up and running and support your hockey and ambitions.
THE SMALL PRINT: This has to be a real club effort because in order to activate Sport England Support WE MUST reach our initial 25% target of £2,000 as soon as possible (we are hoping to hit this target in the first week!). Once we have met this target, we will then be required to raise the next 25% by the end of our Crowdfunder on 1 May 2021. Donations must be made up of 50 unique bids.
With your help we can continue our plan to make HC Knole Park even greater than it already is!
