Aim

Replace floodlights (installed in 1990) with modern energy efficient units to save the environment, reduce costs and improve performance

Who are we?

Hadfield Bowling Club was established well over 100 years ago and ever since has been a thriving sports facility.

Crown Green Bowling is a cherished community activity that promotes physical health, social interaction, and community cohesion.

We are a proactive club, and our facilities are used on both a formal and on a casual basis by numerous local groups and associations, as well as 8 teams bowling in local leagues.


Why are we crowdfunding?

Our current Floodlights are outdated, inefficient, with some units no longer working limiting evening play and increasing energy costs.

Upgrading to modern LED floodlights will address these issues by providing reliable and energy-efficient lighting, allowing members to enjoy the sport safely after dusk.

How we’ll spend the money raised

We have quotes in place and everything ready to go - all funds raised will be used to upgrade the facilities.

Community impact

The installation of LED floodlights will have a significant positive impact on our community by:

• Increasing participation in evening bowling sessions.
• Promoting physical activity and well-being.
• Strengthening social bonds within the community.
