Havens Community Hub runs a food waste prevention pantry, activity clubs for people with complex needs, and supports other local projects
The Hub creates projects to help meet unmet community needs and so far has started three major projects as well as supporting other small groups, charities, and campaigners in the Havens area (Saltdean to Seaford coastal stretch).
Our ethos is 'we'll FIND a way or we'll MAKE a way' and believe in working with communities to find solutions to social problems and filling in gaps in support for people facing barriers to inclusion.
Our new projects for 2023 include a network for mental health groups, a new community hub in Peacehaven, and expanding our existing projects and partner charities to reach more people in this time of economic and social crisis.
Havens Community Hub relies on fundraising and the generosity of supporters, companies, and local authorities to help with grants and donations to enable it to run.
