Aim

The Post Office scandal arose from errors in Fujitsu's systems. But do other government departments have similar problems ? Lets find out.

Like most of the British people , we have been deeply shocked to discover the truly wicked way that the Post Office has treated hundreds of postmasters as a result of errors in Fujitsu IT systems - errors which led to completely false accusations of theft, followed by unjustified prosecutions and convictions of very many innocent people.   But the company Fujitsu provides IT systems  to a number of UK government departments . So the question must necessarily now arise - are there others in the UK who have fallen foul of errors with the Fujitsu systems used by the government - and have there been more - and maybe even many more - unjustified prosecutions, and grotesque miscarriages of justice ?

We plan to begin an investigation which will look into which government departments are using Fujitsu systems to collect money from the public , whether these systems are known to be prone to financial errors ( our team already knows of several such possible cases ) , how these errors are dealt with, and whether any have led to miscarriages of justice.

Once we have established the magnitude of this potential problem , we will take advice on appropriate solutions, and update you. If you are aware of anyone who has received unsubstantiated requests or demands for payment which you believe may have been caused by errors in a Fujitsu system , you can share the information with a member of our team via [email protected].

We believe the people must be protected from the sort of events which befell many Post Office postmasters , but the only way this can be done effectively is to first get the information, and then make it known. It is reported that the company Fujitsu has received new contracts from the UK Government worth over £2 billion since 2019 , including contracts with the Home Office, HMRC , the FCDO, the Police and others.

We estimate the first stage of our investigation will cost £ 5000 and that first stage should then establish what further investigation will be required.
