Six year old Harry has cystic fibrosis. We are raising money to fund a life changing drug.
About the project
Harry was born with cystic fibrosis, a chronic life limiting illness for which there is currently no cure. Whilst he appears a normal six year old boy, he has to endure hours of intensive treatments and medications every day to keep his lungs healthy.
Later this year a new drug is likely to be licenced that could make a real difference to Harry's quality and length of life but at this stage it is uncertain whether the drug would receive nhs funding. We are raising money to attempt to fund the drug privately if this is the case. If later in the year the new drug receives nhs funding then all funds raised will be transferred to the cystic fibrosis trust - a registered charity working for people with cystic fibrosis.
