"Go Direct" to Roosters [via the 21 mile Ringway]!

Aim

We will be lacing up our boots and packing the blister plasters to take on the 21 mile Harrogate Ringway.

Our aim is to raise £3,000 for two amazing causes that are close to our hearts. Candlelighters https://www.candlelighters.org.uk/ and Being Bel https://beingbel.com/home/

On May 21st 2026 our team of Go Direct and Toucan 'ramblers' will take on the Harrogate Ringway walk. It's a tough but rewarding (lunch stop at the pub and ending at Roosters Tap Room!) trail, taking in beautiful countryside on the doorstep of our lovely town, Harrogate. We will begin the circuit at Hornbeam Park and along the way will take in local attractions - Crimple Valley, Harlow Carr, Birk Crag, the Nidd Gorge, the riverside at Knaresborough and close-up views of four magnificent railway viaducts. We are a mix of ages, heights and abilities - some have started training and some haven't (unless padel counts!) but we're up for the challenge to raise as much money as possible for these amazing causes.
