Aim

We're creating our 6th print magazine, an 'Underground Annual', a coffee table photo book and art book of band member sketches for charity

Hey, we're Hardbeat Magazine. We're a group of individuals who are passionate about underground rock and metal music from the UK and around the world.

First of all, what do we want to achieve here? Well, we want to create issue 6 of Hardbeat's print magazine along with a tabletop photography book from our talented photographers as well as a charity sketchbook to raise money for a couple of alternative music based charities.

Who are we though? Well, there are around 20 of us who have come together over the past few years for no other reason than to discover the best alternative music that exists and give it the attention that it deserves. Previous to 2020 we had just been an online blog-style publication but decided to head to print in 2020 through to 2022, creating five premium quality physical magazines. The magazines were highly regarded within the industry by the musicians included as well as the professionals that represent them and we're committed to heading back to print in 2024. Bigger and better than before!

To start with we have our charity sketchbook. Already completed by Creeper, Don Broco, Dave McPherson, You Me At Six, The Blackout, L.S. Dunes, As December Falls, As Everything Unfolds and Asking Alexandria, a minimum of £5 from every sale of this book will be donated to Metal For Good. We also have the magazine which will feature hundreds of artists from the UK and overseas and our tabletop photography book featuring the work of our insanely talented music photographers.
