Hedgehog numbers are rapidly declining and need our help.
We are a group of postgraduates students studying at the University of Surrey and doing a crowdfunding project for the Happy Hedgehog rescue center. The lovely Jayne (pictured in the middle of the photo) is the founder of the rescue and we would love it if you could help us to help her wonderful rescue.
The Happy Hedgehog Rescue centre based in Yateley is entirely self funded and helps hundreds of hedgehogs per year. We would love to help them continue caring for hundreds of adorable hogs that would be largely at risk without the rescue. Our goal of £2,000 would be put towards new cages for the hogs to be kept in whilst they are recovering and receiving the best care.
However, remember: Any amount you can give could save a hedgehog's life. Please help!
£5 - would feed a hedgehog for a week
£10 - can help two hedgehogs for a week
£20 - Would feed a hedgehog for a month, giving it a much better chance of
survival when released back to the wild.
£50 - would pay for a hedgehog operation, saving it's life
There is a hedgehog named Thor, he was brought to our rescue center with a broken ankle and lungworm – microscopic parasites hedgehogs get from eating too many slugs, snails or earthworms. Now he is being treated and recovering. By sponsoring our project, you can help hedgehogs like Thor to out of this situation.
