Ice cream means joy. Help us raise £10k to fund a second kitchen so that we can grow well, creating more ice cream, more jobs and more joy!
At Happy Endings we LOVE making ice cream, because our ice cream is all about the things that matter to us most: HAPPINESS, INCLUSIVITY, ETHICS and CRAFT. And those things matter to you, too!
Because of YOU we’ve been able to continue churning all through the pandemic. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH for keeping us open and doing what we do best! And now more than ever we need your help to keep spreading the love.
We are stoked to have secured the lease for the arch neighbouring our current production kitchen to facilitate some massive, exciting changes. We are asking for you to be a part of our support team, to help raise enough money for a deposit for that arch and to cover our fit-out costs.
And what do you get in return? Choose from a bunch of brilliant supporter rewards for yourself, or gift something to a friend who could do with a treat. Come to our launch party! Stock up on your favourite ice cream sandos, get a wicked t-shirt or just chuck in to the pot, knowing that you are contributing to the sum total of ice cream happiness. Because in times of crisis, ice cream really helps.
Ice cream means joy, and our goal has always been to create as much joy as possible. The new premises will give us the dedicated space we badly need to install the machinery required for our growth and enable our staff to work in a more efficient, manageable way. That means MORE ICE CREAM, but that also means more jobs, employee growth within the business and taking our products to new heights. Sounds good, right? Because you know what brings even more happiness than ice cream? Creating more jobs and a bright future in our beloved industry.
We are super grateful to have kept supplying our delicious things to those amazing clients who have remained open for takeaway. With wholesale accounts down by approx. 50% we recently added our own London-wide delivery service, sending ice cream delights directly to our customers’ doors as we looked to increase revenue via a number of direct-to-customer routes. This difficult time has led us to seize the opportunity to push what we do in fresh, exciting new ways.
The time is right to grow, and we are committed to growing WELL. To us, that means caring for our whole supply chain, our staff, our customers and our environment. We are undergoing an incredible packaging re-design to revolutionise the way we work and take our branding up a gear (and our footprint down a gear), with fully compostable wrappers in a bold new look which will make our ice creams last longer and be even better than ever before, opening up new avenues in terms of stockists and distribution.
Hospitality is our life and we want it to thrive again. We want to contribute to industry but creating a great working environment and positive and dynamic culture. We are committed to paying only London living wage and above, to meet all our needs to live and flourish in a demanding but amazing city. We want to give back to the hospitality industry which has given us so much. Because we thrive when everyone thrives; and everyone thrives on hard work, fairness, happiness – and great ice cream.
