Aim

Help Hanover FC complete a new floodlit 3G pitch at Brownstown Park.

Who are we?

Hanover FC is a community-focused football club based at Brownstown Park, serving players of all ages and abilities from across the local area.

At the heart of the club is our thriving youth section, with more than 200 children regularly participating in football through the Hanover Youth Academy. Supported by dedicated volunteers, coaches and parents, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment where young people can develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy the many benefits of sport.

For many years, Brownstown Park has been home to football in our community. We are now working to secure its future by creating a modern facility that will serve current and future generations of players.

Why are we Crowdfunding?

Hanover FC is transforming Brownstown Park through the development of a new floodlit 3G pitch that will provide year-round access to football and physical activity for the local community.

Significant funding has already been secured to make this exciting project possible, and work is underway. However, as with many large community projects, additional funding is needed to help us deliver the highest quality facility possible and ensure it can meet the needs of players, schools and community groups for many years to come.

The new pitch will:

  • Provide a reliable, all-weather playing surface.
  • Increase opportunities for youth football participation.
  • Support the continued growth of girls' and women's football.
  • Create additional training and match capacity.
  • Enable wider community use throughout the year.
  • Reduce cancellations caused by poor weather and pitch conditions.

By supporting this campaign, you will be helping to create a lasting sporting legacy at Brownstown Park and ensuring that local people have access to quality facilities close to home.

How we’ll spend the money raised

All money raised through this campaign will be invested directly into the development and enhancement of the new Brownstown Park 3G facility.

Every pound raised will help ensure that Brownstown Park becomes a first-class sporting facility that the whole community can be proud of.

Community impact

The new Brownstown Park 3G pitch will provide lasting benefits for both Hanover FC and the wider community.

Hanover FC currently supports two senior men's teams, Hanover Ladies, Hanover All Stars, and more than 200 children and young people through the Hanover Youth Academy. The new facility will provide these players with a safe, modern, floodlit surface that can be used all year round.

The pitch is already an important community asset, regularly used not only by Hanover FC but also by local schools, youth groups, churches and community groups. The redevelopment will allow us to increase availability and ensure these opportunities can continue to grow for years to come.

The project will:

  • Increase opportunities for participation in sport and physical activity.
  • Support the growth of girls' and women's football.
  • Expand opportunities for disability football and inclusive sport.
  • Reduce cancellations caused by poor weather and poor pitch conditions.
  • Improve physical and mental wellbeing through regular activity.
  • Provide a facility that can be used by schools, community groups and local organisations.
  • Encourage social inclusion, community pride and healthier lifestyles.

By investing in this project, supporters will help create a high-quality community facility that will be used by hundreds of local people every week and benefit generations to come.
