Hamilton Community Football Trust

RCN SC043893, Lanark

As the charitable arm of Hamilton Academical Women & Girls FC, our Trustees recognise the significant importance of the role of our Club and its ongoing potential within the local and wider community. The attraction of the game can be inspirational to all walks of life, regardless of their age, sexual orientation, race, health and ability. We are able to offer our Trust as a robust and integral part of the community and offer a platform for fostering a community spirit between all statutory and non-statutory services and support. We are incredibly proud to have a close association and working relationship with many organisations across the local and wider community.

Hamilton Community Football Trust

This is an extremely exciting time in women’s football as status and progress is finally becoming  more accepted and fully aware across our country and Hamilton Academical Women & Girls FC is no exception to this.

Our 1st Team currently sits within the SWPL (Scottish Womens Premier League) and both credit and thanks are given to the many volunteers who devote their own valuable, personal and family time commitments towards success of the team over the past decade.

As part of the new development and restructure, we are asking for your help to provide with meeting the costs of creating a transparent pathway from grassroots to professional football for women and girls. There never has been a greater time to become part of  it all, whether that be as an investor, sponsor, coach, player, volunteer or supporter.

Our well established and respected Academy are looking to remove some of the barriers girls currently face in Scottish football and any donation received will ensure this is put into place as we strive to bridge the gap that exists between male and female football.

Some of the areas we are looking to fund include, kit, expenses, education and registration fees/associated costs to represent HAWGFC in tournaments both in the UK and abroad which will also provide the girls with confidence and improved life skills while developing their talent playing the sport they love.

As we work towards becoming a fully inclusive Club, another part of our restructure will be to create a fully inclusive football team for females whom for whatever reason require additional support to enable them to participate and enjoy the sport in a supportive and professional environment and again your help and support is needed to help this become a reality.

There are many other factors associated with the new redevelopment and restructure led by recently appointed CEO of Hamilton Academical Women & Girls FC and we are working closely with the local authority and other networks to achieve our goals, so please keep an eye on social media and our club website for further announcements.

In the meantime, thank you for your donation and being part of this exciting new future for Accies Women & Girls in Scottish Football "One Club Moving Forward!"
