My name is Anil Madineni and I have two girls studying at Aldryngton Primary School. I am delighted to be taking part in the Reading Half marathon (7th November 2021) and this year I have decided to run for the Aldryngton PTA.
I am trying to raise much needed funds for our school community as we benefited greatly in the past from the fundraising efforts of a busy PTA, however due to the pandemic, they have been unable to carry out many of the usual activities and the school has suffered as a result.
Having been associated with the PTA (Chair/Co-Chair) for over two years now, I can't believe how big a role it plays in providing resources or facilities to our children. From buying iPads or Garden benches or Football kits or Online learning Subscriptions, PTA has always been the frontrunner in making donations in order to improve resources available for the children at school. This I believe will only enhance children's learning opportunities whilst at school.
Personally this is my THIRD half marathon and I have never run for a charity before. So that makes it first of its kind for me.

All the proceeds from this fundraising will then go to the PTA.
P.S. In the case if the event gets cancelled or I can't take part due to any personal reason, all your donations will be refunded.
