I'm running a half marathon to fund my World Challenge Borneo Expedition and support Parkinson's UK, in memory of my Granddad (50/50).

This year, my granddad passed away after battling Parkinson's. In his memory, I'm running a half marathon to raise money for my Borneo Expedition and Parkinson's UK.

Why Parkinson's UK?

Parkinson's UK does amazing work helping people with Parkinson's disease. They provide support, fund research, and raise awareness to improve lives. We experienced how my granddad was affected by this disease, and I want to give back in his memory. By donating, you help fund vital research, provide crucial support services, and improve the quality of life for those facing this tough disease. Your contribution makes a real difference.

UPDATE:

Ending 2024 on a high!

I received this letter of thanks from Parkinson’s UK for the £610 I donated following my half marathon on 30 November.

Completing the challenge was a huge achievement, made possible by the support of friends, family, and the Walton Academy community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.
