Aim: We want to raise funds towards access and equipment for a new landscaped play area for physical and adventurous play in Hainsworth Park
In 2021 it's 100 years since Hainsworth Park was given to the people of Farsley for 'playing fields and use of unorganised games particularly for young people'
The Friends of Hainsworth Park have secured over £30,000 to install a new play area adjacent to the existing playground that will suitable for children 6 and upwards to enjoy physical and adventurous play.
We know the park could be even better if we raise more monies thats why we need the help of the community .
This will be installed this summer, in accordance with the council’s requirements for standards of safety and public consultation.
In these times we all understand the importance of outside space to help improve physical and mental health, this is a chance to celebrate the centenary of Hainsworth Park and make it even better for our community.
This fundraiser can help us improve the equipment we install, here are the costs:
This is the plan for the park it will be landscaped and next to the existing playground. The FOHP have raised over £30,000 in funding to build the below, this crowdfunding campaign will improve the equipment we're able to add to the park when it is built this summer
