Buy a share in the Hafnarfjörður cricket team

Aim

We're trying to raise money to help the Hafnarfjörður cricket team to stay afloat. So we're selling the team. To you.

We're a group of volunteers who run Hafnarfjörður Cricket Club, the Hammers, founded in 2018. You may have heard of our home ground, Víðistaðatún, because it's the northernmost cricket ground in the world.

Our club competes against the mighty Reykjavík Vikings and Kópavogur Puffins. Between them, they won every domestic competition here in Iceland during 2019 and 2020. That's six trophies. We won nothing. In fact, we lost all our games in 2019 and won only a single game in 2020.

We're hopelessly outgunned. We're the immigrants, the refugees, the students, the fishermen, the tire sellers, the tree surgeons, the clowns. We need your help. 

We've decided to sell you a share in our team. Spare us a few krónur. Or pounds. Or dollars. Or rupees. Share our on field successes. Share our failures. Share our future. Be a Hammer.
