In May, I shall be dusting off the Meindl Burma boots and packing the Compeed to undertake The Military vs Cancer Hadrian’s Wall Walk, a 4-day 86 mile yomp¹ with my old Raemoir Avenue mucker and bootneck² Nic Watt.
Nic has already completed the Great North Run in 2023 for this charity and will be subjecting himself to more pain by listening to me spin a few dits³ for 86 miles along the Hadrian’s Wall route. I am sure it will be a hoofing⁴ experience, and we won’t be feeling too threaders⁵ at the end of it.
We shall be attempting this for the charity Military vs Cancer, which supports past and present military personnel and their families who are battling cancer, and to inspire them to live their best lives possible.
If you can spare a pound or two, I would be extremely grateful as this is a charity which can really make a difference to anyone who is trying to deal with the effects of cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Thank you for your support,
Scott
PS, there are still places left if you fancy it. Come and join us on 29th May for some hoofin' dits!
