Murray wanted to raise funds for a charity that ensures we ALL have access to the covid vaccine, not just those living in "rich" countries.
Murray is walking, swimming and cycling his way through 90 miles ~ the length of Hadrian's wall. His friend was raising money in the same way for Parkinson's and he felt inspired to do the same.
He has chosen UNICEF's vaccinaid because he knows how lucky we are to have free access to health care and wants to help make sure all countries have the same access to the covid vaccine. The monies raised helps buy the vaccine, but also to deliver training to nurses and volunteers to ensure it is delivered safely and efficiently within each nation.
