Who are we?

The Garden House is an inclusive space in the countryside around Marple where people can experience wellbeing through nature. We have a farm, cafe and sensory garden as well as our beautiful natural environment by the river. 

The Garden House charity exists to provide a place of wellbeing and opportunity for those in need. People can learn new skills and make new friends.

Community impact

We aim to support those experiencing social and economic challenges. as well as those with physical and mental health challenges. Since Covid the need has been even greater. We provide a low cost, inclusive experience and we hope to enhance our offer through the colder and wetter weather with our warm space. 

Why are we crowdfunding?

We rely on donations and grants to maintain our provision. We are seeing the greatest ever need for our services and like every charity we are struggling to meet demand due to the higher costs of living. Help us to help more people to enjoy respite time and take away the pressures they are facing. 

How we’ll spend the money raised

The money will be used to host regular guinea pig therapy cafes for small groups. These will be in a warm, safe space with refreshments and money will support heating lighting and cleaning. Some expenses will be needed for host volunteers to travel to the site. A wonderful experience helping everyone involved.
