Growing the Community

Aim
We would like to create a growing area in the school, with the school children, They will learn to grow to help the community.
We are a group who want to to help children from all backgrounds get the best start in life, allowing them to learn and grow within the community.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We will work closely with the Community Council and help to create a growing area within the school. The area will be used as an educational and community area and to grow plants that would be planted around Carnwath, keeping the village looking its best. It would allow members of community groups to come in to work with the children and teach them about the growing and maintenance of the plants.
We would also look to put any of the food that we grow in the schools 'Sharing Shed' so that members of the community can enjoy fresh food.
