Greenwood Park Community Garden

We want to create green spaces that are truly owned by the community, from the design to the planting and harvesting. Our aim is to grow fruits, vegetables and plants for the whole community to enjoy, and anyone can help! 

To do this we need to raise the funds to create our community garden in Greenwood Park.  We have raised the money for the fencing, but now we need to create, maintain and the garden and for this we would love some additional funding.

Any amount is hugely appreciated and can help us build something truly beautiful for the community:

£1 - One packet of seeds 

£5 - Five packets of seeds

£10 - One bag of compost

£20 - Spade or fork

£50 - One small raised bed 

£100 - One large raised bed

£125 - One bench

£150 - Tool shed

All the fruit and vegetables grown in the garden will be available to the community.

The garden will be accessible to all with a gate, paths and seating areas.

The aim of the garden is to bring people together from all over the community, whether you are an experienced gardener or starting out, young or all.  The garden is open to everyone, it will be a space to come and discover more.  We will be gardening in a way that is friendly to nature and be looking for as many ways as possible to welcome nature into our garden, apart from the rabbits that live in the park!
