Inaka no Hana Nidi Gallery - Tokyo March 24th - April 3rd 2017 Curated by Johanna Tagada for Poetic Pastel Including artworks by Jatinder Singh Durhailay, Rie Yamada, Johanna Tagada Tomoya Kato, Taiki Iai, Tilmann S. Wendelstein (The Simple Society) Painting, Drawing, Photography, Film, Textile, Words Including a musical performance by Jatinder Singh Durhailay on the occasion of the opening This exhibition serves as a means of rethinking and reimagining our societies. While also raising hopes towards an event, a series of dialogues that pushes towards democracy, participation and ecology. Inaka no Hana as a temporary exhibition, offers the chance for a community building through artworks and nourishing the idea of positive daily actions including all of those involved (artists, gallery owners, visitors, etc) With the purpose of refining the conversation started in the first part of this project (Douceurs de l’imperceptible, Tender Books, England, January 2016). The financial support is to be spent the following way : (Installation team - two weeks for the exhibition + a few days before & after to assist installation and taking it down) - Framing - Shipping (booklets, material, etc) - Printing of leaflets
