Hi,
Based on real life events, meet Quincy Thwaites.
Biological father a diagnosed schizophrenic as an infant; his mum is forced to move home after it was burnt down.
She then meets the most notorious gangster in Brixton where they become romantic, who takes Quincy under his wing and begins to groom him for violence.
For example, any debt that was owed to his stepfather, Quincy was told to settle the score as an 11 year old.
He was told to beat these grown men up, who were too scared to retaliate as his stepfather was present and oversaw the ordeal
Quincy begun to commit petty crimes as a youth.
Afraid his frequent arrest for petty crimes, would bring attention to their family specifically his stepdads operation Quincy’s mum one day said to the police “keep him, he is your problem now” following Quincy’s arrest for a minor crime.
Quincy then went into the care system, which caused abandonment issues and the byproduct of that being sorrow and anger.
He was often homeless and joined the most notorious gang in London, who became his new family!
From then, he begun a crack-cocaine habit as a young teen, which lead to more significant crimes to fuel his addiction, that ultimately landed him in Feltham youth offenders intensifying his violence. He was small but handled himself well during this sentence as his stepfather took him boxing, where he became skilled.
Upon release, his most significant crime which gained national media attention would be shooting an automatic weapon at the police whilst fleeing an earlier shooting. Yet he still had the compassion to cease fire during a shootout as he saw a vulnerable old man and young child…
The judge took this into consideration when he was sentenced to 14 years(serving 10), where he was released in 2011.
Quincy credits this level of compassion to his stepfather.

I believe this needs to be a visual adaptation as he was the most influential person in Lambeth for all children in poverty during the 1990s.
It would be a character driven film, which will highlight the emotions felt as a child feeling abandoned and what can happen as a result of this when becoming an adolescent. The action would come from his time in the gang, care system and prison.
Watch the interview and if interested, please contact me so I can arrange a meeting between yourselves and Quincy.
the budget requested is based off the theatre and Netflix sensation “The Blue Story” which captures key figures of blue borough(Lewisham)
This is the most significant and influential person in Lambeth for teenagers and adolescents who grew up in Care, poverty or council estates during the 90’s early 000’s. Yet the world will resonate!
to match the quality and success of the Blue Story, the budget requested will give the team the resources to bring this story to life and give it the justice it deserves!
Thanks.
