Help the Greens write to 120,000 first-time voters

Aim

We need a huge turnout from young voters next May if we want to stop the far-right and elect a record number of Green councillors.

Overwhelming support from young people was key to our incredible result earlier this year, doubling the number of Scottish Greens MSPs in Holyrood.

With council elections looming, we need your help to reach the next generation of voters  and set out our vision of a fairer, greener Scotland.

Targeted letters are crucial when communicating with young voters. They rarely get traditional mail, making these letters memorable and effective. At the Holyrood election, we saw thousands of young people vote Green for the first time;many of them after we reached them directly through letters. Now we want to go even further.

Every one of these letters counts - at the last council election we missed out on another Green councillor in Argyll & Bute by just one vote out of 3,663!

Reform UK has seen record-shattering donations in recent months valued at over £75 million from crypto-bros, bankers, and billionaires, all betting on Farage to do their bidding. Now, they plan to directly mail over 15 million homes across the UK. 

We need your help to fight back against this rising tide of hate and ensure every young person in Scotland hears a message of hope ahead of the council elections.

With your donation, we will write to young people in the dozens of areas where Greens can win next May, setting out our progressive vision for Scotland’s future. 

This election could be the biggest in Scottish Greens history, with indications that we could even come first in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and double or even triple our number of councillors in every corner of the country, from Shetland to Dumfries and Galloway.

With just £25, you can fund 150 targeted letters to first-time young voters in areas where they could make the difference between electing a Reform or Scottish Greens councillor.
