This project will enable the refurbishment of our sports hall floor and basketball units to improve the facility for Inclusive Sport.
Greenbank Sports Academy is part of the Greenbank Project, and provides sport and recreation opportunities for disabled children and adults including school holiday and after school sessions, club and coaching activities and a wide range of competitive events.
We also work extensively within our local community and have strong links with local specialist and main stream schools and community groups to ensure that all disabled people locally can access our services.
Greenbank Sports Academy is also open to the public so that the local community can use our facilities, whilst also supporting the charity.

Greenbank Sports Academy is vital to disabled people based in the Liverpool City Region and beyond. We need the support of our community and wider afield to allow us to get our sports hall floor refurbished and basketball nets working. We have over 30,000 people access our facility each year and it would be great to get support and allow us to contiune to provide a first class facility and environment that meets our users needs.

So that's why we are here today fundraising to enable us to have a graet sports hall and adaptive equipment that will help improve people's mental health, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve self-esteem, combat social isolation and empower disabled people to move their lives forward in a positive direction.
With just a little support from you we can do great things and transform so many people's lives, so please help us today make tomorrow brighter for someone.
Greenbank will use all the money raised to improve and enhance the sportshall facilities at Greenbank Sports Academy which allows us to offer so many different sports and activities to disabled people and the local community.
Just one in five (20%) disabled people have taken part in an organised activity session in the last year, compared to 25% of non-disabled people. We need to ensure we can reach more people.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
