We're still collecting donations
On the 26th July 2024 we'd raised £1,330 with 25 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Over the coming months we will transform this neglected piece of land into a glorious community garden.

On the 26th July 2024 we'd raised £1,330 with 25 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Welcome to the Green & Glory community garden crowdfunder.
We have been donated the use of a large neglected piece of land in Dickleburgh, Norfolk to turn it into a community garden. Initially we need to install a polytunnel, hard paving, raised beds and toilet and washing facilities. Once we have these in place we can then begin working with wider groups. We already have local schools, youth work agencies and volunteer groups ready to start using the garden.
Green & Glory will become a place of peace for a wide range of people through Horticultural Therapy. This will include students with Special Educational Needs, individuals challenged by depression and anxiety, parents with post-natal depression, those recovering from physical injury, carers who need respite, refugees or asylum seekers, those who have been affected by homelessness and anyone who needs support to improve confidence and self-esteem.
This crowdfunder is just the start of a much bigger campaign. We need around £15,000 to purchase and install an accessible compostable toilet block and around £1,500 to purchase and install a polytunnel. We also need to install hard paving and raised bed, plus need some additional tools such as wheelbarrows.
Alongside this crowdfunder we are also applying for lottery funding and grant money to aid us in the initial launch of the project.
