In the county council elections on 1st May, we're fighting to elect a strong team of Greens to Lancashire County Council. We need your help!

Support a Green Surge Across Lancashire! 

Since 2022, North Lancashire Green Party have gained 13 new Green city councillors, taking our total to 23. We're now the biggest party on Lancaster City Council for the first time ever and we're running the council in a coalition with the Lib Dems and Independents. We've got a strong team of Green councillors on Lancaster City Council. It's time we also have a strong Green Team on Lancashire County Council Green too! 

In the county council elections on 1st May, we're fighting to extend the Green success from Lancaster City Council to the county level.

We currently have two Green county councillors in Lancashire and we want to more than quadruple the Green representation on Lancashire County Council!

Why Lancashire Needs More Green County Councillors:

• Resist Labour's attempts to merge Lancaster with Preston to create a mega-council 
• Take serious action on the climate emergency and push the County Council to divest from fossil fuels 
• Invest in better and more affordable public transport, not more road-building projects
• Invest in new safe cycling and walking routes and improve road safety 
• Push for more funding for local government to tackle the social care crisis

Unlike other parties, which are funded by wealthy corporate donors, the Green Party is different. We’re a grassroots people-powered party, funded by thousands of people chipping in donations of what they can afford to fund our work.
