1716812108_cat_promo_with_inprint.pngHi, I am Cat Jamieson and I have lived and worked in Medway for 20 years and am passionate about addressing climate change, the ecological crisis and addressing inequality. Previously I've worked for Medway Youth Trust for 15 years and was a Trustee of a Medway Charity that supported families with young children. I am delighted to stand as the candidate for Rochester and Strood and hope you can donate to Medway Green Party's fighting fund for this General Election.

Why support the Green Party in Rochester and Strood?

People are at the heart of our movement. Unlike other parties, we are not funded by big business and vested interests. We are powered by people like you.

We can't do this without you.

If 50 people gave £10 each we would hit our target.

Every donation has a double impact:

1. By helping Cat to stand, your donation enables all the votes they receive to translate into government funding for the Green candidates elected elsewhere (known as short money).
 2. If we get 5% or more we save the deposit, those funds come back and can be spent by the Medway Green Party again, so we can keep building for  the local elections in 2027.

In our unfair voting system, many people think they have no choice but to vote Labour to ensure a change of government.

Polls are consistently showing that Labour will win a big majority of seats at the General Election on July 4th 2024.

Because of this, in Rochester and Strood, you can vote for the party you believe in. You can VOTE GREEN because it will put pressure on the future Labour government.

  • to invest in the NHS, and other public services, and bring railway operators and utilities such as water back into public ownership.
  • to tackle the affordable housing, and cost of living crisis
  • to lead the way towards low-carbon energy, food and transport systems, as fast as possible
  • to advocate for peace and international justice, including support for refugees affected by climate change and conflict

Labour keeps back-tracking on its commitments, abandoning pledges on issues such as green investment and tackling inequality and poverty.

Support our Campaign:

Vote Green for Change.

Vote Green for Hope

P.S. Because we're a political party we're required to run electoral register checks from people making donations above £500. And if you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know, who will make this available on their website. All donations go to general campaigning funds.
