Aim: Support Green Party general election candidates for Bury
Elections are expensive. It takes £500 just to have each candidate on the ballot. That's before any actual campaigning can take place.
25 supporters, each donating £20, is enough to fund one deposit.
In Bury, we need two. Experienced councillors Michael Welton and Owain Sutton are the candidates for Bury South and Bury North. They are part of the strongest Green Party representation in Greater Manchester.
Michael is the Green Party group leader on Trafford Council, first elected back in 2019. Owain is also on Trafford Council. All six Green Party councillors in Trafford gained their seats from the Conservatives - Michael and Owain know how to win over support from all other parties.
The two old parties have let Bury voters down badly, in recent years, as they have to everywhere in the country. People deserve the opportunity to say "No more of the same".

Any funds raised not used in this election will be put towards future campaigning for the Green Party in Bury Metropolitan Borough. Because we're a political party, we're required to run electoral register checks from people making donations above £500. If you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know, who will make this available on their website.
