Hi, I am Kim Winterbottom and I have lived in around Chatham and Aylesford for 17 years. I am passionate about addressing climate change and inequality.

I am currently a teacher and have seen first hand the impact that poor policy and decision making has had on the lives within the community.

Why support the Green Party in Chatham and Aylesford?

Unlike other political parties, the Green Party do not accept large donations from big business.

All our activities rely on the amazing energy, passion and values of our local resident volunteers. But we lack vital money to compete with other parties and get our message heard.

£500 will pay for parliamentary candidate deposit

£580 will pay for a leaflet to be delivered to every house in the constituency

£100 will pay for a 1000 calling cards to potential voters

£20 will pay for 30 posters.

By helping the Green Party to stand, your donation enables all the votes they receive to translate into government funding for the Green candidates elected elsewhere (known as short money).

We can’t do this without you.

Every donation has a double impact:

  • Chatham and Aylesford is not a target seat for Labour. They can win the election without winning here. Conservatives are still trying to find a candidate from elsewhere in the country to stand. Greens can win here!
  • A win for the Green Party will mean a strong voice is heard in parliament to hold other parties to account to ensure that these key issues are addressed:

• The NHS, health, and social care

• Affordability and availability of housing

• Water quality

• Standard of living

• Climate and nature

  • Peace and international  justice,

Support our Campaign:

Real hope, real change

P.S. Because we're a political party we're required to run electoral register checks from people making donations above £500. And if you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know, who will make this available on their website. All donations go to general campaigning funds.
