We are crowdfunding to put on The GreatBritish Asparagus Feast!
A five course celebration of the short but oh so sweet British asparagus season!
The Feast will be held at Yurt Lush near Temple Meads in central Bristol on Thursday 5th May 2016.
Our stellar line of chefs means you can eat at 3 of Bristol's top restaurants in one magical night without leaving your seat.
As if that wasn't enough, Guardian drinks writer Fiona Beckett has designed a drinks flight to accompany each course.

Drinks Matching with Fiona Beckett

Yurt Lush in Bristol is a seriously unique venue and we couldn’t be happier to be holding the feast in such a welcoming venue. The Yurts are a series of 3 interlinked Mongolian tents based just next door to Temple Meads. Yurt Lush believes in a field to fork ethos using local, sustainable produce to create seriously tasty food.

We have over 100 specialised growers across the country from Cornwall to northern Scotland cultivating this beautiful crop that hails the start of spring. It's a tricky crop to grow, each spear must be cut by hand and in the height of the season a spear can appear in the morning and be ready to cut by sunset. Each course of our feast will feature asparagus from a different grower, and each will tell their story.
"It's a terrific celebration of one of the country's most special, precious seasonal crops!" Chris Chinn, Chair of the British Asparagus Grower's Association
“I’m delighted that PamLloyd PR is running the Crowdfunder project for our clients The British Asparagus Growers. They are a hugely dedicated bunch of growers whose crop truly deserves to be celebrated in this way. I can think of nothing nicer than giving British asparagus to three of Bristol’s best chefs and then sitting down with friends old and new to eat what they cook with it. All the PamLloyd team are looking forward to 5th May immensely!” Pam Lloyd
"We look forward to the start of asparagus in the Pony kitchen as it marks the start of spring/ summer. It'll be a great night cooking alongside some of Bristol's best chefs.” Josh Eggleton
“Good luck. Let's keep promoting BRITISH asparagus!” Lucy Antal
