Graces Philippines Medical Volunteer Internship

Aim

I’m fundraising for a medical internship in the Philippines to gain experience and support my future career in healthcare.

Projects Abroad is an amazing charity that helps communities around the world. I’ll get to see what real healthcare is like in hospitals and local clinics, help with health outreach, and learn basic medical skills — all while making a genuine difference where help is really needed. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance for me to learn about medicine, understand global health issues, and experience a completely different culture, and I’d be so grateful for any support to help me get there 💙
From the age of 7, I’ve wanted to work in the medical industry being a ‘Paramedic Princess’  now age 16, I’m striving to become a paediatrician or paediatric nurse. I’m studying T level health at Truro college and the 30 hours of both service and clinical shadowing will contribute towards my course. I will also gain invaluable experience that can only help and support my applications for universities.

I will be doing a range of fund raising activities before my departure on June 27th including raffles, quiz nights, coffee mornings, a 10 mile sponsored coastal walk and more
