Gowerton U11s Pen Y Fan Challenge!

Aim

Together, we Climb - Together, we Support! Gowerton U11s rugby team will be climbing Pen Y Fan Sunday 7th June, 2026!

On Sunday 7th June the team will be climbing Pen Y Fan to raise funds for their local grass roots rugby team!

This is a significant challenge for Gowerton Under 11s as Pen y Fan is the highest peak in South Wales, standing at 886 metres (2,907 ft) above sea level!! 

To make the challenge even tougher, the boys will be working together as a team to carry a rugby tackle bag all the way to the summit — showing determination, teamwork, resilience and the same pride they bring every time they wear the Gowerton badge for the Starch!!

Gowerton Under 11s are a driven, passionate, considerate, and friendly group of young rugby players, developing their skills, teamwork, and love of the game while proudly representing and learning within their local community.

Why are we crowdfunding?

As the team prepares for the exciting transition into Under 12s and the season ahead, they are fundraising to help support new teammates with kit, provide new and refreshed equipment, and create memorable team-building experiences that will strengthen confidence, friendships, teamwork and performance on and off the pitch!

Every donation, no matter the size, will help give these boys the opportunities, support and experiences they deserve as they continue their rugby journey together.

There are three simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
