Every day the hospital receives 260 new patients, doctors battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support to give the children at GOSH the best chance to fulfill their potential.
Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity supports the hospital and its patients by funding four key areas:
Rebuilding and refurbishment the hospital facilities to deliver world-class care for some of the UK's most seriously ill children
Child and family support services to help them deal with intense stress and unfamiliar surroundings.
Research funding in key areas where they can make a difference.
Equipment to ensure children at GOSH has access to the least invasive and most effective treatments available.
*The new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system wouldn't have been possible without previous charity funding.
