We're still collecting donations
On the 10th May 2024 we'd raised £3,084 with 28 supporters in 50 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
There a reason to be here, grief spaces are a critical part of society, we all need time to heal, rest and recover.

What we will do with the Extra funding.
We would like to take our 'Honouring Grief ' programme to the people who need it the most. We have teamed up with Breathworks mindfulness (www.breathworks-mindfulness.org.uk) to produce an 8 week mindfulness course with the grief as it's theme.
This would immediately reach marginalized groups, and will working with other grief charities and across the Uk to put the word across. We have a number of people who would hugely benefit from the “Honouring Grief" Programme but do not have the funds.
We are offering a proactive, preventative response to the current mental health crisis. Please help us to give the opportunity to learn resilience and isolation by having spaces to grieve:
1. Making a pledge.
2. Spreading the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell your friends and family about us. The more we can raise, the more can benefit from this unique, tried and tested programme.
Why give to our 'Honouring Grief program ?
Last year our summer retreat in the South Downs was attended by a diverse crowd from all walks of life. What was most interesting about the attendees was not only their personal narratives of hardships and endurance, but rather their ability to be at home with each other's pain and grief. It was a unifying factor that went beyond colour, gender or any other characteristics. and a place of true belonging. It has been said that there is no better medicine in the world than the sense of belonging, authenticity and good old fashioned kindness.
A highlight was the camp fire. People sang, cried, and danced. It was an unforgettable moment. Some learned skills of mindfulness or journaling and enjoyed the great home cooking. Some remembered the sacrifices made by those who came before us - in exile, migration, and tragedy - and were able to re-tell their narratives and heal. Many grieved, mourned and spontaneously broke out into song. And the inspiring ritual proved that grief is more powerfully held within and by a group; and the loving energy of the collective.
Who we are ?
MNPC is a Community Interest Company focused on providing grief spaces both through virtual events and face-to-face retreats. Please join our important cause to raise funds to support our programs. Our programs are needed more then ever; and, post-covid, these services are very much in demand to meet gaps in the system.
The Impact of our ‘Honouring Grief’ Program
The Honouring grief is tried and tested and results in positive improvements in many areas of peoples lives including:
How we will use the funds
This grant enabled us to provide bursaries for many of the participants who would otherwise not have been able to afford to attend the grief retreat weekend.
How we will use extra ongoing payments:
