At Goals Beyond Grass, we believe that everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy and freedom of cycling. Through our inclusive cycling sessions across Gloucestershire, we enable people of all ages and abilities, especially those with disabilities to feel the wind in their hair, build confidence, stay active, and make friends in a safe, supported environment.
Whether it’s at Blackbridge Athletics Track, Belmont School, or the Forest of Dean. GBG Bikes is transforming lives through the power of cycling.
🚨 We Need Your Help: Let's Build a Home for Our Bikes!
Our incredible fleet of inclusive bikes is growing; trikes, handcycles, side-by-sides, and more and with them, the need for proper care and storage.
We're launching this Crowdfunder to raise £14,292 to fund two 20ft containers -
🛠️ One for a dedicated maintenance workshop, fully kitted with the essentials to maintain our fleet.
🔐 One for additional secure storage, to ensure our fleet of bikes housed at our cycling hub @ Blackbridge athletics track.
🔧 As well as funding a regular bike mechanic to oversee any complex repairs, regular servicing as well as up skilling our vital volunteers to enable on the go repairs.
🩹 Also enabling our volunteers to be First Aid trained, and DBS certified
This project will give our bikes the TLC they need to keep rolling for years to come.
🔧 Why It Matters
Our inclusive bikes are more than just equipment they are freedom machines. They carry children who’ve never been able to ride a standard bike. They bring smiles to residents in care homes. They build confidence and independence for those with physical or learning disabilities.
But maintaining such a diverse fleet is no small task.
With your support, we can:
- Set up an on-site maintenance workshop with a regular mechanic to keep our bikes in top shape
- Have a new storage container to store our fleet of inclusive bikes
- Train and support our volunteers with DBS checks and First Aid training, ensuring a safe and professional experience for all
- Extend the life of our bikes, saving money and the planet
- Continue expanding our reach to more people across Gloucestershire

Your donation, no matter the size will help us hit our target and unlock Sport England’s match-funding, where they will match £7,146. But we also need at least 25 unique supporters, so even a £1 pledge can make a big difference!
