In July 2019, a few brave rebels took direct action against the Greater Manchester Pension Fund's dirty investments in fossil fuel companies. At the time, the pension fund had almost £1.7bn invested in fossil fuels, more than any other local pension fund.
The action included glueing on, entering the building and blocking the entrances, and spraying the building itself. On the 7th December, the trial finished, resulting in a £600 fine for the cost of the damage and the court fees themselves.
We are raising £600 to cover the fees, and would really appreciate anything you can give to help!
