We opened our doors in December 2005, based in Barton Street, Gloucester. We were the third Trussell Foodbank to ever open in the UK, and have served people facing hardship in Gloucester & surrounding areas for the past 20 years. In the run up to December, we are marking our 20th year with a series of 20 events and initiatives to raise awareness of our charity, and the urgent need we have for support from our community, so we can continue to offer our emergency food parcels to those facing unimaginable financial difficulty.

Gloucester Foodbank is a registered charity, working in partnership with Trussell. We support individuals and families in need in Gloucester and everyone living within GL1-GL4 postcodes. We not only provide food and toiletries to help in the short term, but also operate in conjunction with another local charity, offering financial support advice to help those facing financial hardship regain their dignity and independence.
