Welcome to the Global Markets annual Christmas Fundraising page. We’re raising funds for London Fields Primary School!
About London Fields and the need
London Fields is a UBS Community Impact partner primary school with a strong reputation for working well with pupils with additional needs. Currently, the school has 100 children who have been identified as having special educational needs. These children have social, emotional, and mental health needs as either their primary diagnosis or alongside another difficulty and they can at times find it hard to tolerate their mainstream classroom.
Although the school invests heavily in a well-being approach, prioritising the mental health of all children, they currently lack a functional and dedicated space for children with these complex needs.
How your donations will help
Installing a multi-sensory room will create the dedicated space needed to help the learning and development of children with autism, ADHD, and other needs.
The multi-sensory room will:
- Enable timetabled help to be integrated into SEND provision.
- Provide therapeutic space for sensory input, stimulating the brain to improve sensory processing.
- Be a dedicated space for pupils struggling with anxiety.
The school is looking to raise £20,000 for this provision. All funds donated up to £10,000 will be matched by Community Impact.
