Aim
We are raising funds for the SNP campaign in the Glenrothes & Central Fife area to fund central campaign headquarters & canvassing efforts.
Project aim
We are raising funds for the SNP campaign in the Glenrothes & Central Fife area to send our excellent candidate Peter Grant to Westminster as a strong, local voice. The more SNP MP's we have in Westminster the stronger our voice.
About the project
My name is Peter Grant, I have been a Councillor in Glenrothes for nearly 23 years and a winning SNP candidate at seven consecutive council elections. I have a decades of experience working for and representing my local community.
In the Glenrothes area, 29% of children now live in poverty. This is just not good enough. We need a strong SNP voice at Westminster to stand up for our local constituents and to ensure our most vulnerable constituents; women, children and disabled are protected.
It is essential that we send the biggest number of SNP MP's EVER to Westminster in order to end welfare cuts, to end the horrific bedroom tax and to ensure that the morally unjustifiable austerity,which Westminster has imposed on our country, is stopped.
Once you make your donation and the crowdfunder campaign ends, the money will be deposited into the Glenrothes SNP bank account for us to invest in our LOCAL campaign. What's more, we also need YOU to get involved. We will be out campaigning every week and weekend from now until the General Election and you can join us to see where your generous donation has assisted in empowering our campaign.
