Walking the Kiltwalk for Megan’s Space
This year my son Jude and I will be taking part in the Kiltwalk to raise funds for Megan’s Space, an incredible mental health charity in Irvine that provides one-to-one counselling and support for children and young people who are struggling.
Mental health is something that means a great deal to me personally. I am deeply passionate about helping to break the stigma around mental health and ensuring that children and young people have access to the support and understanding they deserve.
I’ve watched a close family member struggle with poor mental health from a very young age and I’ve seen first-hand the devastating impact it can have not only on the person suffering, but on everyone who loves them.
Seeing someone you care about fight battles that others can’t see is heartbreaking, especially when it feels like the help they need is so hard to access.
It’s 2026, and yet many people still have to fight to have their mental health concerns heard and taken seriously. That simply shouldn’t be the case.
That’s why Megan’s Space is so important. They provide a place where children and young people are truly listened to. There are no barriers, no impossible waiting lists and no judgement - just support, understanding and action when it’s needed most.
By supporting our Kiltwalk, you’re helping ensure that more young people can access the support they need before things reach crisis point.
If you can donate, no matter how small, it would mean so much to both of us. Together we can help make sure no young person feels like they have to struggle alone.
Thank you for supporting us and for supporting Megan’s Space.
