Aim
We are taking a group of our students to perform in New York City. We will be part of the Tartan Week Parade and perform our own show.
We are a theatre education-based charity in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire.
Our aim is to teach our students new and transferable skills that will not only help them in the performing arts but in all areas of their lives.
We are taking this group of students to NYC to represent North Lanarkshire and to showcase their hard work all over lockdown and beyond.
We had to cancel all in person fundraising during December and January due to lockdown measures that were put in place in Scotland. We refunded all of the tickets sold to our winter events and lost almost £2000 in funds. This was 100% out of our control. The cancellation fund from Creative Scotland was unable to support us with the loss of income. Our students and their families have worked hard to reach their target and are so close.
This final push will make sure their trip and performances in NYC are 100% covered and that they get to have the experience of a lifetime
