Helping an asylum seeker friend

I met Hamid by chance  in Greece back in December while on holidays with some friends. I am trying to raise money to help him. I was moved by his very difficult situation and story.  If Hamid is sent back to his country he faces death by execution. He was forced to leave Iran with his disabled brother after he expressed his ideas about freedom of  religion. He was then challenged and physically assaulted by religious police in Iran. After hiding for few days he was lucky to leave the country and lived with his brother for a year in the streets of Athens in a very precarious situation. He remains in Athens and he is trying to obtain refugee status and improve his life there as well as his brother's situation.  He needs money for legal fees, living expenses and medical care. Please help us  so  that they both  can have a chance to enjoy all the things in life  that most of us take for granted.
