Give Russians real news about Ukraine using ads

This is just a quick note from me to thank you for your support this year.

We started our campaign to bring independent news to Russians with £100 and a couple of friends on WhatsApp, the day after Putin invaded Ukraine.

Thanks to people like you, we have now expanded to show over 400,000,000 ads this year, and to help over 500,000 Russians access news about the war. 

On the way we've:

1. Had over 700 donors, totalling $100,000s, to pay for our campaign.

2. Been helped by over 60 volunteers who made a huge effort, for free, against unreasonable deadlines. I can't, obviously, thank by name all the people who are anonymous. But thank you to Ali, Lee, Ryan, Anastasiya.

3. Temporarily had some of our money confiscated, by a bank overzealously enforcing sanctions. 

4. Been shut down too many times to count by platforms who are enforcing Putin's censorship.

5. Started again and got our ads out too many times to count. Enough times though that we've always been showing ads.

6. Talked to government about how they can fund our campaign, but also make policy changes that would make us more effective.

7. Planned to make our campaign permanent so that we can undermine censorship in any country that tries it.

Finally we've spent a lot of time publicising our campaign so that more people find out about it. That will help us find donors and helpful government support.
