Raising money together as Marksbury to help fund Covid vaccinations around the world by supporting UNICEF's vaccine campaign
We have all been deeply affected by the pandemic in many ways. The way forward is to vaccinate the world and we as a village can help by donating towards vaccinations for those who don't have them yet. We can support UNICEF's vital campaign to deliver 2 billion doses of Covid-19 vaccines to health workers and the most vulnerable in countries where they are needed most. This is a global problem and we can all make a difference!
We are so fortunate to live in a country which has the resources to deliver free vaccinations so efficiently. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to show solidarity with other parts of the world that are not as lucky as us, by donating to this campaign in acknowledgement of the jabs and boosters we have received and may also be offered in the future. Any amount, however small, will help; whatever each individual can afford. Let’s demonstrate the power of community and folk coming together to help; individuals and organisations, churches, businesses, community groups and neighbourhoods. Everyone! Working together, we can really make a difference.

“Covid 19 has travelled around the globe, infecting communities and wreaking a terrible toll in countries in every region. We are incredibly blessed to live in a country where vaccinations are both free and readily available. But the Pandemic will only be defeated when the whole world has access to life-saving inoculation programmes. This local initiative in support of UNICEF's work to bring vaccines to the whole world community is truly fantastic, and gives us all an opportunity to show our gratitude and show solidarity with all those less fortunate than ourselves.”
