The stretched target will go towards improving the Gipsy Hill Station garden and maintaining the planting in the Gipsy Hill area. The additional funds could be used for the planned petanque court materials in the garden or landscaping to improve the garden accessibility. This funding will be used to help us put on more activities in the garden.
See our website for historic activities - Friends of Gipsy Hill
Any donations on the day will be added to this total to support the Friends of Gipsy Hill community activities.
Following the success of the Gipsy Hill Village Fete in 2019 we plan to recreate that sense of community pride and look to use Long Meadow for our 2022 event.
With a dog show, birds of prey, music, games, bouncy castles, community planting, marquees, food and drink and a selection of local community groups, to help you see what is happening in the Gipsy Hill area, we have lots planned. We need your help to deliver this Gipsy Hill community event.
We have raised £2000 already and are looking for a further £3000 in order to provide the village fete and all the amenities such as clean toilets, fencing, marquees, tables, chairs, games, a music stage, hay bales for you to relax on with your food and drink. We need to provide fire points, generators, first aid points, necessary signage and hi-vis vest for our volunteer helpers.
Please donate to the crowdfunder to help us bring the fete to Gipsy Hill and/or if you want to help us on the day then please let us know on [email protected] to register your interest.
Check out the rewards page as you can have a mug or a t-shirt with your favourite logo. You can also claim one of our bales of straw (at the end of the fete).
I ❤ Fanny the Cat
At the end of the fete you can have your very own bale of straw as a reward for your donation.
