Deliciously irreverent jewellery in pastel porcelain and silver, inspired by all things sweet and sugary, for the inner child in you.

The more I raise, the more I can travel with my little casket of treats. Help me to take my work to even more trade fairs and specialist events, and to continue to grow my audience worldwide.
I am Rebecca Wilson, a Scottish ceramicist turned jeweller. My deliciously irreverent wearables in silver and porcelain are inspired by the palette, processes and products of the confectionary industry. Statement pieces and everyday jewels with accents of candy colour will transport you back to the retro treats of your childhood.
My collections are borne out of the belief that we should celebrate the little things in life that make us happy. The jewellery serves to glamorise the little treats we allow ourselves, that which tempts us and that which we choose to indulge in. Humble confectionaries and cakes are re-imagined in precious metals, glittering gemstones and luxurious creamy porcelain so that each glittering biscuit or sweetie becomes a sparkling gem-like accessory. In this age of austerity we must look to the humble things that make us happy, and we must celebrate them with reckless abandon. Statement pieces and everyday wearables in silver and porcelain turn seemingly ordinary items into a collage of pleasurable extravagance.
For the past fifteen years I have been doing the 'big juggle', balancing work (the real job), family (the actual real job), and the dream of being a full time maker. This year I have decided to take the plunge, and take over a decade's experience in staging exhibitions, events and marketing for other artists, and invest all of my energy into my own creative pursuits.
To help me get there I have opened this very special little tuck shop, just for you! Whether you choose some 10p mixup studs from the kids menu, or go 'grown up' with an artisan patisserie trinket box, every item on the menu is available exclusively through this project.
Every little helps, and I'm eternally grateful for every little bit of support y'all can throw my way!
My travels are always well documented through the medium of food. Come with me on my culinary journey and I'll send you a postcard of some of the tasty treats I discover along the way. Because who doesn't love a real postcard in this age of emails?
As I'll be visiting Amsterdam with my work later in the year, I thought I'd throw in a bit of dutch charm, with these porcelain stroopwaffel studs, finished in 18ct gold leaf. Nothing beats a sweet sticky stroopwaffel warmed over a cup of strong coffee, until the caramel in the middle goes all hot and melty. Mmmmm....
Fried eggs, pink shrimps, white jazzies, flumps, whats your favourite?? Handcrafted in porcelain with sterling silver posts and backings.
If you like it then you should have put a ring pop on it! Choose from the Mini (£35), the Mega (£45), or if you think you can handle it, the Doubler (£65). Sterling silver ring, made to order in your size, and with your choice of pastel porcelain gem-pop.
Did you ever in your dreams imagine you could wear a whole metre of pastel rainbow coloured sherbet straw, at the same time as adulting responsibly? Or what the heck, why not make it 2 metres? Choose from the small or large version and loop it around as many times as you dare! Silicon with a handcrafted silver and magnetic clasp.
Keep whatever you fancy in there; your most precious jewels, special keepsakes, a secret stash of sherbet, or pop a very special ring in there and pop the question. Choose your shape, and any combination of marshmallowy pastel colours.
Forget the penny trays, and reach for the 20p section, nestled between the highland toffee and the wham bars! Dual coloured flumps in your choice of colour combo, in extruded porcelain with sterling silver ear posts for even the most sensitive ears. Deceptively light, and super wearable!
This little wobbly trinket box in icing white porcelain is a pleasure to play with. Watch it wibble and wobble as you retrieve your precious things from inside.
Would you like to see the dessert menu? Every one of these decadent porcelain cakey treats is unique and decorated by hand. Choose your favourite dessert, be it lemon meringue or violet creme, before it's gone for good.
Each month I'll send you a little treat for your ear lobes in the post. As well as pick and mix styles from the tuck shop range above, expect one off samples, discontinued designs, subscription exclusives, and surprise bonus treats with your package.
Keep an eye out for more one-of-a-kind treats appearing sporadically over the course of the project. Be sure to sign up to my mailing list to be the first to know.
For me to make this little dream business a sustainable reality, I need to invest a whole load of money, time, imagination and effort in getting the work out of my garden shedio and into the real world. Your contributions will help me to take my work to trade fairs and specialist collectors events in London and Amsterdam in 2019, and hopefully even further afield as time goes on. Taking my work to the trade audience at Top Drawer in London will allow me to grow a network of stockists, so that in the future you can find all my tasty tuck shop treats in a retailer near you. And specialist art jewellery shows will allow me to take my more ambitious work directly to the world of jewellery collectors, starting with Sieraad in Amsterdam this coming November. The more I raise, the more shows I can attend, and the bigger my audience grows.
I come from a background in ceramics, with both a first class undergraduate and a Masters degree, and have more recently introduced jewellery and wearables to my collections. I have exhibited extensively in the UK and abroad, most notably at COLLECT in the Saatchi Gallery, London, SOFA in Chicago, JOYA in Barcelona and Sieraad in Amsterdam in recent years. I lives and work near Edinburgh in Scotland, and have two young daughters, and an extensive collection of houseplants. My favourite sweets are parma violets, preferably the big ones. With a sideline in arts administration I have over a decade’s experience in exhibition and event management.
"Playful and quirky, with a touch of glamour... Love your work!"
"Stunning works of art, full of fun and nostalgia and as a fellow ceramicist, technically beautiful constructed. what's not to like!"
