Ghost needs an operation after a car accident!

Aim

Ghost need an operation on his broken leg. We would love to save his leg but, if we could just raise £2000 we could afford to amputate

Our lovely, special dog Ghost was hit by a car. My son Lowan had taken him for a walk and let him of the lead to throw the ball in the Gannel River, when he bolted towards the road and ran out before the driver could stop. 

I foolishly had cancelled my insurance when money was really tight and after being a dog owner for 9 years and never having had an accident I thought a short break would be fine!........ I am now feeling like a bloody idiot!!!

We rushed to get Ghost who was being cuddled at the side of the road by Lowan and took him straight to Penmellyn Emergency Clinic where they gave him painkillers. During an X-ray Ghost's breathing became laboured, the vet then had to drain air from his lung. He has been stable today and breathing seems to be ok.

The vet has advised that our options are as follows....

An operation to repair the fracture, which is estimated at £4500

An operation to remove the leg, estimated at £2000

or.....the unthinkable! :( :( :(

Every day that Ghost is at the vets, the bill gets bigger, so if you could please help us get him home ASAP that would be AMAZING!!!!
