We're still collecting donations

On the 7th January 2021 we'd raised £1,172 with 26 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Since the lockdown started in March 2020, large numbers of people have been getting in touch to ask about growing their own food in an environmentally regenerative way. During the Summer, we responded to the community's needs and held online sessions teaching the basics of 'no-dig' gardening and Q&As to help get people started. These sessions were a huge success, and many people wanted them to continue throughout the growing season.

We have designed a course to run from Feb - Oct 2021 that will cover everything a person needs to get their garden growing, from absolute beginners to seasoned pros. Our principles and techniques are of the highest environmentally regenerative standards.

We will meet online at the start of every month. Each session follows this format:

  •  what to do in the garden this month
  •  focus topic (a more in depth look at a particular aspect)
  •  breakout rooms (a chance to share stories, ideas, questions)
  •  Q & A with SL's permaculture designers and teachers

We are encouraging people to sign up for the whole year, but individual sessions will be bookable too.
