The Bayeux Tapestry tells the dramatic story of the events leading up to the Norman Conquest of England in 1066, culminating in the Battle of Hastings and William the Conqueror's victory over King Harold. Far more than a work of art, it is an extraordinary visual narrative and one of the most important historical sources for the period.

Whether you're a history enthusiast, a keen embroiderer, or simply looking for a unique piece to display, this faithful reproduction is a remarkable prize.

The Cause

Proceeds from the prize draw will support The British Red Cross.

From everyday support and emergencies in the UK to conflicts and disasters overseas, the British Red Cross is there to guide and assist people through humanitarian crises.

Their work is guided by humanity, neutrality and impartiality; by compassion and dignity and by providing support based on need alone (they don't take sides or compare lives).
