We are Maybe You Like It, a company creating collaborative, high-energy, story-driven stage shows that are fast, funny, fluid and filmic. We entertain and engage audiences with accessible, comedic work that connects with people that don’t think theatre is for them. 

This year, we're thrilled to be returning to the Fringe with our fourth new show in four years: Whatever Happened To That Guy?

In 2008, A-Lister Guy Wesley disappeared. Now, he’s writing his tell-all memoir. At least, that’s what failing author Bee Leigh wants her publishers to believe. Can she pull off the biggest hoax of the century* before the yarn she’s spun unravels?

About Us

Our team are all returning members of the company that have worked with Maybe You Like It on Pleading Stupidity, Sorry (I Broke Your Arms and Legs) and Down to Chance. With every show, we start with a compelling story and work collaboratively to tell it in the most entertaining way possible.

The Ask

Having been given extra support by The Pleasance and Theatre Royal Plymouth as part of the Edinburgh National Partnership last year, this year we're back on our own! We're so excited to delve into the knotty world of celebrity with this show. Fringe audiences love our madcap style, but it's more expensive than ever to bring work to Edinburgh. Costs include:

• Accommodation
• Venue Hire
• Equipment Hire
• Design (Lighting, Sound, Print)
• Posters and flyers
• Living costs
• Travel
• ...and more.

The summer is a huge financial undertaking, and so any amount you can contribute towards our goal is greatly appreciated and will go straight towards making this our most successful Fringe to date.
